Gurth to the Earth
04:51
|
|||
Way down beneath the ground and deep within the earth
Prehistoric crawling death
Scattered and weathered bones lay covered by the sand
Violent raging girth
No one knows which day the earth will rise
Or if it will at all. There’s a silence in despair
Perfection lies inside the middle of it all. Graboid fever in the air
Stand still don’t make a sound vibrations are the call
Feeding time is almost here
Take control and Ride the pole to the closest rock
Escape the slithering fear
There’s a look on the face of fear for everyone
That’s why they get you down
There must be ways to stop this loss
They’re under the goddamn ground

The Plunge
05:56
|
|||
Head down
Stuck in impervious sludge
Waiting the moment of shifting plates causing the plunge
Wait on
Time passing on through the space
Caught up in death
Longing the breath
Oxidized decaying face
No way out
Trapped within shattered fate
Where do we go from here
Lost in the violence and trained fear
Where can we go from here
Burned out
Arrogant social betray
Swallowing minds of the weak and the powerless prey
Faceless
Wondering lost in the fuss
Cold dying place
Making the case
For starting it over in dust
Into the plunge
Into the plunge

The Introvert
05:34
|
|||
You say hello I say goodbye
Don’t like that look within your eyes
You smell like animal decay
You need to move along the way
Nowhere to run nowhere to hide
I’d sell my soul this time
No where to run no where to hide
I’m fucking dead inside
Not sure I like the way you look
Your mouth is like an open book
You’ve got me quivering inside
Just wanna find a hole to lie

Solace in the Dirt
07:23
|
|||
A whisper in the air
Has me trapped somewhere
A calming space in time
Scars of past regrets
Vanish in the wind
Freedom from the pain to be
Stand and watch the rain
Weeping skies of grey
Clothed in black silk
A journey at its end
I watch the aura bend
The final curtain call for me
I felt their grief
Rain wash it away
Solace in the dirt
I’m not there
I do not sleep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
